Stoner 2011 MotoGP Champ

Stoner wrapped up the title on sunday at his home race in Oz at the stunning Phillip Island. Conditions were less than ideal with light showers throughout and a heavy shower with 3 laps to go, which caught out a few riders.

Stoner's title was pretty much handed to him this weekend, after main title rival Jorge Lorenzo was ruled out of the race on Sunday morning after a nasty crash in warm up. Lorenzo was the only rider able to stop Stoner taking the title this round.
