Re: PBF RALLY 2013
Excellent! That saves me uploading them all!
It was a good weekend. Arrived in Oban around 4ish on Friday. Set up camp then headed straight to the supermarket for some 'light refreshments'! And a stack of grub for the BBQ. Thanks Roy for doing the cooking!
After the food was demolished we just chilled with a makeshift campfire where the BBQ had been.
Also on the site were a group of riders from Moray Coast Motorcycle Club. Who proved to be good company and we all had a good laugh.
Saturdays run went out to Mallaig. Although we were caught in a couple of showers it was still a good ride out. Good roads and impressive scenery. A quick fish supper and a bit of banter with the local plod (who was also a biker, and gave sound advice) and we headed south again via Strontian.
The Strontian show was on at the time so we got to see all sorts of livestock, a tug of war contest and a sculpturer carving wood with a chainsaw. All good.
Then back to camp via the Coran Ferry for more beer n BBQ.
More Moray bikers turned up and it ended up quite busy. Even better!
Sunday, packed up and headed home.
Thanks to all who went. It's you guys who make these events worthwhile.
