PBF RALLY 2013
Now would be a good time to put the feelers out for our Annual weekend away, The PBF Rally.
To get the ball rolling, The PBF Rally is usually held July/August. I'd like to suggest we tie down a date and stick to it every year so we can plan in advance.
I propose the 1st weekend in August. Ideally Fri -Sun. So you will need a day off work.
Head off Friday morning, settle into digs/set up camp etc Fri night.
Ride out Saturday,Sight seeing and/or Activities, Party Sat night.
Sunday, Sober up and head home.
As for a destination, Two possibles have been mentioned so far..
Alston, Cumbria CLICK
This is where the Hartside Top Cafe is and is popular with bikers and is surrounded by good roads.
Also not too far from home, Dumfries and Galloway. Again plenty good roads.
Add your name if wish to attend.
Finer details will be arranged when numbers are confirmed.

Re: PBF RALLY 2013
I'm up for it, think the middle of August would suit myself and Mark (if he's coming) better, summer leave is normally around then. I will keep you posted though.

Mark has suggested the possibility of getting the use of a relatives caravan which is located somewhere up the west coast, with access to a boat and nearby distillery on Jura. This could be a good option with minimal outlay.. There should also be other caravans available but I would imagine booking early would be essential due to demand and time of year etc,
Approx time/dates would be mid August.
All in favour say 'AYE'!
Against say 'NAE'

Re: PBF RALLY 2013
Destination changed due to dwindling numbers. Oban will be the new base with a ride out to Applecross, taking in the bridge over the Atlantic. This will also mean accommodation will be tents at Roseview campsite.
Re: PBF RALLY 2013
Any update on who else fancies coming along? Come on guys, we can have a Paisley bikers if no one want to go out riding and weekend trips!!

Re: PBF RALLY 2013
With the new destination being Oban, it's not so far to travel for a day trip on Saturday if anyone else is free..
In all likelihood the rideout will now go to Malaig which could be easily done in a day.
