Newbies...
Hi All,
Welcome to the new look Paisley Bikers Forum, newbies should introduce themselves here..
With your input it should become a useful place for discussion of bike related topics, organisation of ride outs, and general banter.
In the meantime, my card is behind the bar. The drinks are on me!
Enjoy!

Hi All,
As the PBF founder I'll make the first intro..
Ian's the name, I ride a Suzuki Bandit 1200, I love touring, taking in all that Scotland has to offer but the day trips anywhere around the west or Loch Lomond side are what keep me going.
Hope to see you out and about soon...
G.

Hello
Hi there it Roy
I ride a triumph street triple, last year was my first time on a naked bike, loved it! But do miss the wind free (well a bit less) of my CBR600F. Getting out on the road is the best thing, hours in the saddle, just clocking up the miles and seeing what scotland has to offer. Hopefully take that journey further soon and don the roads of France, Germany, Spain?? Anybody fancy it???

Hi Heather, Welcome to the forum!
When the weather improves a bit we'll definitely have some decent rides organised. And I'm sure you won't have any trouble keeping up!
also, any time you fancy getting out, just post it in the rides section to see if anyone else is up for it.

Re: Newbies...
Unfortunately Knockhill is the only track in Scotland the public can use. There are 2 other kinda private tracks but you'll need to join either the Melville motor club (which use East Fortune race track, East Lothian) or join the Kirkcaldy club which use Crail (but used to use knockhill until last year) or join the new Knockhill club which use eh...knockhill! Been doing trackdays at Knockhill for a couple of years now, (although my lap times dont reflect this lol) and i'm about to embark on my first race at East Fortune. I'm riding a 1986 VFR750 in the post classic senior class, racing against GSXR1100's, FZR1000's etc all post 1988. So as you can imagine i'll be dead last but i'm no really caring about that, as some folk say it's the taking part that counts (aye right) Anyone thinking about doing trackdays should just get up there and do it, if you like riding yer bike fast you'll not regret doing it.
