Google Maps 3D routing. Empty Google Maps 3D routing.

I might be a bit slow off the mark here but I just spotted a 3D option in Google Maps when you ask for directions.
Tried it out last night and it gives you a birds eye view of your route in 3D. You can actually fly round your route!
I'm impressed!!
Not only that, you can pause it and jump into street view to see what the road is actually like! Brilliant!
