Next week I'm away with Big Andy and a few other reprobates to Sin City. Las Vegas. cheers

Apart from the usual antics we plan to hire bikes and head to the Grand Canyon. I'm particularly looking forward to this. Only 3 of us have bike licenses though but it'll still be awesome!

Well, I'm home. And starting to feel human again after a pretty full on long weekend! Turned out only me and Andy hired bikes. The Grand Canyon turned out to be too far away. 700 miles! So we headed up the interstate for about 35 miles then turned off along a cracking road, smooth new Tarmac, plenty sweeping bends and amazing scenery, stopped at the valley of fire, where total recall was filmed. It's a shocking area of bright red rock in an otherwise baron desert area. After that we headed to the Hoover dam and then back to Vegas. 200 miles round trip.
The bikes we hired were Harley Davidson V Rods. Which looked and sounded awesome, but if we're both honest, not too comfy! I won't be running out to buy one! I'll get round to posting up a few pics soon.
