Re: what does having a bike mean to you.
Not having to rely on mine as daily transport, my bike is purely for pleasure. That's not to say I don't take it to work. But when I do it brightens up my day.
The Scottish weather disappoints way too often. As long as you don't mind getting wet it's not a problem though.
The social aspect of biking has been excellent. I've met so many great people through attending rallies or just randomly meeting while out and about. I wouldn't give it up for anything now.

Nothing else can make you grin ear to ear in behind that visor on a cracking day with nothing but a clear road and your mates around you with the odd act of hooliganism every now and then on the way. You dont need to go anywhere in particular but you just know that your going to enjoy every second of getting there!

It's the same all over the world! I'm just back from holiday in USA and got nods and waves from almost all bikers we passed.cpdesign wrote:when i passed my test and got my bike, i went out for a run, it was the middle of january.
