Suzuki reveal 2012 GSX-R1000 price
Cheapest of the Japenese lite-class superbikes
THE 2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 will cost £10,999.
New motorcycles are usually launched a couple of months before they're available to buy, however, the new model is being launched on the 8th of February to the UK press for review and the bike will be available in dealers from the 11th of February, meaning those wanting to read about the bike in the magazine press will have to wait a further four weeks. Unfortunately, Visordown won't be on the launch so we can't bring you our verdict on the day of the bike's launch.
Suzuki's 2012 GSX-R1000 price makes it the cheapest of the Japanese lite-class superbikes, with Yamaha's YZF-R1 now retailing at £11,999, Kawasaki's ZX-10R also £11,999 and Honda's Fireblade at £11,300.

The price is reflected in the build quality imo. Surprising then that Blade is second cheapest.. Honda build quality is impessive.
It would take a lot for me to part with 11 - 12k.

Yea totally agree with you about parting with £10k plus for a bike. You wouldn'd catch me doing it, I'd rather splash that amount on a cult classic like an RC30 etc! lol
