Ten Kate supplying engines for Gresini CRT

Italian team to use engine and electronics from the World Superbike team
FOR their CRT project Gresini will be using engines and electronics supplied by Ten Kate Racing.
The satellite Honda team will use the engine from the Honda Fireblade in an FTR chassis, with Michele Pirro riding the production-based prototype machine.
In an announcement on the Dutch tuner's website it was revealed: "Engine and electronics will be based on the late 2011 WSBK specifications and during the season developed to suit the CRT bike.
"Of course the CRT bike will also use the latest fly by wire technology as developed by Ten Kate Racing and used by Johnatan Rea during the last WSBK races of 2011. With this new system the team manage to achieve some impressive results with 2 pole positions, 1 race win, and 2 3rd places."
Alongside the CRT entry, the Gresini team will also be running Alvaro Bautista on a Honda RC213V.
