Fork Seals
Anyone recommend a good place to get my fork seals done.
Got them done back in May when I got the bike cos the left one was pissing oil everywhere, but went out today and its gone again - not too bad yet, but need to get it done sooner rather than later.

Re: Fork Seals
You need to stop all these big wheelies Stu!
Last time I got fork seals done was in C&D Grants just off Renfrew Rd. Can't remember how much it cost but it wasn't expensive.

The suspension guy behind Ducati Glasgow is top notch, he is currently working for Scott Redding in Moto2, but he has a running workshop. He's not the cheapest but his service and work are second to none! Think it's called MPG?

Not that I can see. I did have a wee "moment" not long after having them done and its only one side thats gone - wondering if I've either knocked it loose or forced a wee bit of summit up it (fnar fnar). Need to wait till the end of the month anyway cos I'm brassic the now

Re: Fork Seals
Who done them for you last time? They really shouldn't have went so soon if you only got them done in May? Unless you've been popping wheelies everywhere!

Re: Fork Seals
My whopping 14bhp makes wheelies more difficult than you would think lol
Was a garage in along Queen Elizabeth drive in Hillington that done them, cant remember their name

Re: Fork Seals
You may want to phone or even go down and speak to them about it, 6 months isn't a long time for a fork seal to last. They might have used cheap rubber seals or done a botched job? Never know, they might sort it for free!
I had the same power problem with my 125, no wheelies just wheel spin! Don't do what I did though and try it when you get a big bike! Whoops! I nearly flipped the thing! haha
