Bridge over Atlantic (Clachan Bridge) Empty Bridge over Atlantic (Clachan Bridge)

Proposed route - Depart Paisley, stopping at Inveraray (fuel), Lochgilphead, Clachan Bridge, Oban (fuel), Tyndrum (Green Welly) then home. It's an all day shot. Approx 220miles total.

Bridge over Atlantic (Clachan Bridge) Empty Scuffy Tours!

Sat 2nd July,
A few of the east coast guys from my work are planning a day trip here.
Probably weather dependent again. (It has been pretty shitty lately!)

Early plan is meet up with them either at Tarbet and head up through Inveraray or meet in Callander and possibly head round via the Green Welly.
This will include stopping at a pub at Clachan Bridge for some food.
It'll be a fairly relaxed affair (although Scuffy likes to keep to a schedule!)
There won't be any heroics or Rossi wannabes, it's just a day out for some scran and scenery.

Anyone interested in tagging along keep an eye out and I'll post up some more details nearer the time..

It's on.
Meeting at the burger van just beyond Lochearnhead at 10am. So we will need to leave Paisley no later than 9am.
I'll be at the petrol station on Greenock road for 0845.

The last time we aimed for this run the plan changed at the last minute and we ended up going to the Crinin Canal instead. I'd still really like to see Clachan Bridge. So if anyone's interested, keep it in mind for a full days riding.. bounce

Good idea mate! I'm planning on getting a single headlight sorted anyway so that'll do for trips like that etc
